FACILITIES AND AMENITIES: Blackbeard Sailing Club offers visitors from reciprocal Yacht Clubs use of the BSC dock and the Club's restrooms and do-it-yourself kitchen facility. The dock is of recent construction and includes numerous 30 and 20-amp outlets for 100-volts AC. Unattended restroom and showers are accessible behind the main clubhouse. Dock carts are beneath the clubhouse as are ice and soft-drink machines. Numerous chandleries, engine, electric, electronic, canvas, hydraulic, haul-out, and fuel facilities and services are a 15 minute taxi ride away as are several restaurants from casual to luxurious. A public phone (free local calls and long-distance through operator) is upstairs in the clubhouse, as is a weather radio receive and VHF base station. A full-service pump out facility is available at nearby Northwest Creek Marina and an oil dump tank is about 6 miles away at the Craven County Convenience Center. DOCK RULES AND REGULATIONS: Blackbeard Sailing Club makes 100 feet of dock space available to reciprocal club members on a first-come, first serve basis. The first night's moorage is free.
